I was commissed by my lovely client Old El Paso to shoot 4 social videos for them promoting their Smoky BBQ Fajita Kit. Over two days we shot stills for social and their website, and then 4 creative videos. I shot everything on my Canon 1DS using my Kinoflo and dedo lighting.

client | Lindt recipe videos.
Here are the 2 recipe videos I shot for lovely Lindt to co-inside with the release of their cookbook and the stills I took for their social channels. I love shooting video content along side stills. It’s 2 very different disciplines but it’s a fun challenge switching between the two formats. Keeps me on my toes. It’s also just another creative way of visual storytelling… I love breaking down the recipes and deciding the best steps to shoot. Then swapping angles and lenses to get the best shots.
For both the stills and the video I used continuous lighting for speed and constancy. This mean’t that I didn’t need to keep switching back to flash for the stills.

I was briefed to shoot 3 short videos for three easy family recipes for Old El Paso, and here are two of them. Keeping within the colour palette for the client we used Neutral tones with pops of red where possible. The videos were create to used on Instagram and Tik Tok.

I was booked in to do a stills shoot with these wonderful people, but as we had time left at the end of the day, we created this cheeky stop motion which I love. It’s all about the light moving around these beautifully styled drink. Simple but super effective!
