FoodCycle- Cambridge Hub

In August I went with the charity FoodCycle to go and visit one of their hubs in Cambridge. It was a wonderful place that provides food to the homeless and those in need. Here are some of my favourite photos from the shoot:

For the volunteers it is an early start. If I remember rightly, they began preparing the food from about 9am for service at 12pm.

All cooked using surplus food.

On today’s menu is Vegetarian lasagna.

One of the volunteers making soup.

Service begins with tea & biscuits.

The main course is served.

Everyone was enjoying the food.

FoodCycle isn’t just about preparing food for those in need, it’s also about sitting and chatting with them. All the volunteers always sit down with everyone to eat and share stories.
